CAMP LOCATIONS

Camp Amasa is an itinerant ministry, meaning that we do not own property ourselves, but rent camps in various locations around the province.   In 2020, we will be at three separate locations for our summer camps and spring and fall retreats.

Located within walking distance of the shores of Shuswap Lake just outside of Salmon Arm, Elkcanoe is adjacent to a large baseball field and Canoe Beach.

The camp is situated on two acres with paths surrounding the camp for exploring. Adjacent to a park and swimming beach but still amid a treed area gives the feeling of camping in the country but still being close to amenities.

Each cabin room contains 16 beds for total accommodation of 64 persons.  The main building includes a modern state of the art kitchen, large dining, activity area and bathroom shower facilities. The entire camp is designed to accommodate challenged persons and includes ramps and pathways to accommodate wheelchair activity.
